There’s something magical about Charleston, South Carolina. The pastel charm of Rainbow Row, the historic textures of the French Quarter, the sun-soaked cobblestone streets, and the salty breeze of Folly Beach. So when Cheyenne chose Charleston for her senior portrait session, I knew we were about to create something truly unforgettable.

As a senior photographer, I always encourage my seniors to dream big and Cheyenne did just that. From the moment we started planning her destination session over a year ago, she had a vision: color, class, coastal vibes, and a whole lot of personality. And Charleston delivered it all.

We began our shoot at Rainbow Row, where the iconic pastel facades gave the perfect pop of color to complement Cheyenne’s bright smile and confident style. The early morning light danced off the buildings, giving her portraits a dreamy, editorial feel.

Next, we wandered into the French Quarter, where cobblestone streets and historic charm offered a timeless backdrop. Every corner felt like it had a story to tell, just like Cheyenne. Her calm confidence in front of the camera, paired with the worn textures of Charleston’s architecture, made for some of my favorite shots of the day.

We wrapped up the evening at Folly Beach, where Cheyenne swapped out heels for bare feet and let the ocean breeze carry us into golden hour. The waves crashed behind her, the sun dipped low over the pier, and we soaked up every last bit of Lowcountry magic.

Cheyenne is not just a member of my senior influencer team (and my own senior) she’s also a force. Driven, kind, and beautifully grounded, this girl brought her A-game to Charleston. It was such an honor to capture this milestone for her in a place as vibrant and full of life as she is.
